Style of live painting for your guests

“I’ve spent

so much time

at war with

myself, I have

forgotten

I am the walls

of my home

—

forgive her, and she

will forgive you, too

no matter how many times

you asked her to break

—my relationship with my body”

wilder poetry

Katharine Polk, designer of HOUGHTON NYC shared her vision for her Fall  17 bridal line with me and my soul was moved. Completely invigorating and empowering - this art collaboration of several illustrated floral pieces and lettering for her fall line was merged into garments. Here is the "Hopeless Romantic" hand painted leather jacket - featured on Martha Stewart Weddings, NYLON and others. available for order and custom design. www.houghtonnyc.com

Layers and layers of paint and inks on handmade paper made up this background.

100 year old paper was salvaged and used for this mythical shoot in the wild hills of New Zealand. Details of raw wool and delicately stitched accents were probably my favorite element about this suite.

Katharine Polk, designer of HOUGHTON NYC shared her vision for her Fall  17 "Not Your Baby" bridal line with me and my soul was moved. Completely invigorating and empowering - this art collaboration of several illustrated floral pieces and lettering for her fall line were merged into garments. Here is the limited edition "Not Your Baby" squad silk baseball jacket. Hand-lettering and illustrated roses are embroidered into a patch I designed - featured on Martha Stewart Weddings, NYLON and many others. Slipping this on feels like silk sheets on a Sunday morning while sipping a mimosa. haha.

Table Numbers

I white washed each vintage book, the covers, the pages, to give them all a muted tone  with torn edges. Then,  created handmade paper book covers with subtle and romantic water stains, diluted ink drops and blots. Instead of numbers, Kim wanted their love for everything literary to be displayed by the names of their favorite authors marking each table. The back side of each book had a quote calligraphed from each author as well. They turned out magical.

Created and styled a set of headpieces for Anna Naphtali's photography series-- Daughters of the Water--series was featured on Vogue Italia gallery and printed in "Carolina Bride: Inspired by a Bespoke Affair"  book. Loved being a part of Anna's amazing vision.

This was my favorite crown I created. I could see this piece already sculpted the moment I found the dried vines in the woods near our home.

Tattoo commissions are sacred to me. Weaving two journeys together, listening and collaborating with another heart for art that will be inscribed on them forever, it's such a beautiful process.
